With this digital guest guide, we aim to provide you with all the key information for your stay in a clear and organised manner. Here you will find useful information about the holiday village, our facilities and services, opening hours, important telephone numbers and addresses, as well as numerous tips for days out and recommendations for the region.

Should you have any further questions or requests, our team will be happy to assist you in person at any time. We want you to feel completely at home with us and to enjoy your stay to the full.

The expansion of the fibre-optic network in Grafenhausen is currently being planned and implemented by the local council. Unfortunately, until the work is completed, the holiday village will not have access to a fibre-optic or any other high-speed network. As a result, the Wi-Fi connection in the individual holiday homes may vary depending on their location and may be limited, particularly when using data-intensive applications. We ask for your understanding and look forward to the improvements that will come with the fibre-optic roll-out.

The free car park for our holiday village guests (P2) is situated along the country road (L170).

Vehicles may be parked briefly in car park P1 for loading and unloading.

Please be considerate of other guests.
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00. During this time, please avoid playing loud music, having loud conversations outdoors or causing any other noise disturbance.
Parties or events are not permitted without prior authorisation.

You can dispose of your general waste, yellow bags, and paper and cardboard in our recycling shelter next to car park P1 (by the Dorfstüble restaurant).

Please dispose of glass bottles in the glass recycling bins on the access road to the Dorfstüble restaurant.

To help you recycle correctly, here is a guide on how to recycle different items:

Yellow bag (packaging):

• Plastic packaging (e.g. yoghurt pots, plastic bags, cling film)
• Metal packaging (e.g. tins, drinks cans, aluminium trays)
• Drink cartons (e.g. milk or juice cartons)
• Styrofoam (only as packaging material)

Blue bin (paper & cardboard):

• Newspapers and magazines
• Cardboard and paperboard (e.g. packaging, boxes)
• Writing paper, envelopes (without window film)
• Books without plastic covers

Residual waste (non-recyclable):

• Food scraps and soiled kitchen roll
• Nappies and sanitary products
• Broken crockery or glass (not glass for recycling!)
• Vacuum cleaner bags, cigarette ends, ash
• Small animal litter, broken household items

Recyclable glass
There is a collection bin for recyclable glass in the public car park directly in front of the holiday village.

PLEASE NOTE: Nappies, feminine hygiene products, etc. must not be flushed down the toilet!

Barbecuing and open fires are only permitted in the designated barbecue area. Please leave the area clean and tidy so that the next guests can also enjoy it. Open fires are only permitted for adults. Children and young people are not allowed to use them.
You may use your own gas barbecues on the terraces and in the areas surrounding your booked holiday home.

Right on your doorstep: the Black Forest House of the Senses (an interactive museum, ideal on a rainy day), the Hüsli (famous from the TV series ‘Schwarzwaldklinik’), the Tannenmühle with its petting zoo, Lake Schlücht with the Schlühüwanapark nature adventure park, and the Rothaus Zäpfle Heimat.

Popular walks starting from Grafenhausen: the Wäldersinn circular walk (8.9 km with interactive stops), the Rappenfelsensteig leisure trail starting from Staufen, and the long hike through the Rothauser Land (21 km). All tours with maps: hochschwarzwald.de/touren

You can hire e-bikes from the Tannenmühle, amongst other places (free for 3 hours with the Hochschwarzwald Card).

As our guests, you will receive the Hochschwarzwald Card [insert terms and conditions: e.g. included for stays of 2 nights or more]. This gives you free or discounted access to over 100 attractions – from the Feldberg Railway to swimming pools and ski lifts.

Bad weather? No problem: the Black Forest House of the Senses, the Blubb indoor swimming pool in Grafenhausen (free with the Card), the Black Forest Water Park in Titisee-Neustadt, the Unterkirnach play centre, or a trip to the cinema in Titisee-Neustadt or Lenzkirch.

Please let us know your estimated departure time one or two days before you leave. We’ll carry out a brief inspection of the holiday home before you return the keys and we finalise the bill.

A later departure is sometimes possible by arrangement – please just ask us.
